David Lee Campbell's Obituary
David Lee Campbell passed away December 18, 2016. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY to Gordon H. Campbell and Jane Linville Campbell, who preceded him in death. David’s involvement and service to Boy Scouts of America spanned over 53 years. He joined Cub Scouts and Boy Scout Troop 75 at Mullins United Methodist Church, earning the rank of Eagle Scout. David continued serving as a volunteer leader throughout his adult life. His participation included two trips to the High Adventure at Philmont Scout Ranch, Cimarron, NM, once as a scout and again as a leader. He was selected to receive Troop 75’s highest award presented to an adult leader, the H.C. Williamson Memorial Award for Excellence in Scouting. As a member of Mullins UMC, David was appointed to serve as Charter Representative to Troop 75. He leaves his step-mother, Joyce Campbell and brother, Scott Campbell (Tina). He also leaves his nephew, Payton Campbell; niece, Tabitha Smith; and nephew, Chris Boggan. Visitation will be at Mullins United Methodist Church on Thursday, December 22 at 1 p.m. with service to follow at 2 p.m. The family suggests memorials be made to Mullins UMC.
