David Milton Calvin's Obituary
David Milton Calvin, 73, of Germantown, TN passed away suddenly on November 21st. He was born in Nashville to Dorris Brown Calvin and Jewel Hall Calvin. David was a lifelong fan of the Tennessee Vols, having graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in business. He met Lucie, the love of his life, at UT. They were married for 51 years and have 2 daughters, Kate Calvin Horton (Rusty) and Meredith Calvin Pearson (Gary). Besides his wife and daughters, he leaves grandchildren, Addison Reese Pearson, Eloise Kate Pearson, Brenden Gregory Horton and Shane Ellison Bell (Jack). David built a successful career in Healthcare Financial Management, working many years at Baptist Memorial Hospital and Crittenden Regional Hospital. At Crittenden he found great joy not only in finance, but also in leading special employee fun days and activities. Over the years of living in Germantown, David gave back to the city as a member of multiple commissions and as a volunteer in many events. David loved to travel with his wife and family. Throughout their life together, David and Lucie traveled to over 25 countries, making memories and friends wherever they went.
Mr. Calvin's visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 3, 2026 at St. George's Episcopal Church, 2425 Germantown Rd., Germantown TN 38138. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall.
