My deepest, heartfelt sympathy to the family for your loss. Dave was such a wonderful, caring and genuine friend and co-worker. We worked together through the Environmental Program and he was always on time with his reports, meticulous in his work, helping others and he was someone that anyone could count on. Even after his retirement, he would call to say hello and to see how I was doing. David, you were our favorite cousin. When we visited you and Grandma Dunn in Marianna, Ark you were always so much fun. You were 4 years older, yet you played baseball and games with us. Your laugh was infectious and you made just being with you a joy. We were your Western Cousins and your Aunt Bea and Uncle Jake were always so proud of the man you became. We will miss talking to you and hearing your voice. You were so proud of your daughter, she is the light of your life. We send our love and prayers to your daughter and Mother during this sad time. David, you were such a caring and thoughtful person. The first time I remember meeting you was at Cleo’s eating lunch with my mother-in-law and her friends. Even though my mom knew you for years, this is where I first got to know you. You always kept my little family in mind, once I had kids. Each of my boys got a baby gift you picked out, and you even got a get well gift for Cole when he had his tonsils out this summer. Robert loved working with you as well. David you were beloved and will be truly missed. You were one of the hardest working individuals I knew. You took your job as an Environmental Health Specialist very serious. You were the “sample King” and a mentor and cheerleader for us all. You were a friend to so many and loved your mom and daughter beyond measure. I never met your daughter but you loved her and was so proud of your her that you had a sparkle in your eye each time you mentioned her. I will continue to pray for her and the rest your family. I will remember you sweetly when the sun shines sweetly on a bright summers’ morning. God has a special angel now indeed
