Dave Moore's Obituary
Dave Moore, 84, passed away Thursday July, 24 at Methodist Germantown after a brief illness. He was born and raised in Memphis and graduated from Southside High School in 1949. Dave was a loving husband, father and friend. The highlight of his week was working as a volunteer with the Crew Men at his beloved Church. He retired as an Inspector of the North Precinct after 35 years with the Memphis Police Department. He served in the Marine Corps as a Sergeant during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, AB and Evelyn Moore and brother AB Moore Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Bonnie; son Gregory of Germantown, Daughter Noel Dawn Sanders of Cordova and Granddaughter, Madison Carpenter of Somerville. The family will receive friends Monday, July 28 from 9:00-10:00 at Memorial Park Funeral Home with service to follow at 10:00a.m. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Colonial Baptist Church, 1301 Colonial Rd. 38117 or to The Wounded Warriors Project, P.O.
