Darren Harrison's Obituary
Darren is survived by his mother, Sheila, four siblings, Nathan, Jody, Stephen, and Deborah, two nieces, Ali and Brooke, and three nephews Chris, Stephen Jr. and Joshua.Darren was born January 14, 1990 in Memphis TN. He resided at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital until December 19, 1990, at which time he found his parents, Sheila and Dee McClain.Darren’s life was plagued with a life long illness spending much of his life in LeBonheur Children’s Hospital. He was brave, courageous and stubborn which caused him to be known as a Super Hero to those who knew him. He had a kind heart and sweet spirit which made him very loved and will be greatly missed by those who knew him. Darren was very eclectic and passionate about many things; music, reading, movies and fishing, just to name a few.Visitation is scheduled for Friday, February 2nd from 5-8 p.m. and the funeral will be on Saturday, February 3rd at 1 p.m., at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN, 38119, with a reception to follow at Memorial Park Funeral Home’s Parkside Event Center.Pastor Lee Smith will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Darren’s life. We ask that if you attend to wear any type of superhero attire you may have available or your hospital uniform and help give Darren the superhero sendoff he deserves.
