Dante "Danny" Anthony Andreini's Obituary
Dante “Danny” Anthony Andreini, 79, of Memphis, Tennessee, joined our heavenly father on October 8, 2023, while being cared for by his excellent healthcare team at Baptist Hospital- Desoto. He was admitted on September 27, 2023 for bilateral pneumonia. Danny passed away peacefully with his family lovingly by his side.
Danny was born in Memphis, Tennessee on September 9, 1944, to Dante Andreini, from Valdottavo, Italy, and Celeste Andreini, from St. Mark, Italy. He lived his rambunctious young life with his two older siblings, Clement and Lena Clair, along with his grandparents, aunt, many uncles, cousins, and friends nearby. His childhood was an idyllic time in his life which he recalled fondly.
Danny attended Little Flower Catholic School, Christian Brothers High School and graduated from Memphis Catholic. He then enrolled at Memphis State University where he met his sweetheart, Sharon, whom he adored. They wed in 1964 and Danny joined Sharon’s family business, the Pronto Pup Co. Danny and Sharon welcomed two children, Danny and Lisa, whom they loved more than they could have imagined.
Danny led an energetic, beautiful, and vibrant life. He loved and took great pride in the family business, working alongside his wife, son, daughter, and son-in-law, Ken. His charismatic attitude brought a smile to the faces of all those he encountered in the business. He truly loved what he did and all those he met in his days.
Danny was an avid duck hunter and loved spending time with his friends in the duck blind. He also found great comfort and peace at the beach with many memorable family and friend trips.
Danny never met a stranger and was always looking for ways to help others, even if it was just a way to make you laugh with a special smile or a joke. He was strong-willed and stubborn at times, but he also had an enormous heart of gold and a quick wit of humor. He will be remembered for all the precious laughs and love he shared with his friends and family. He sincerely loved each of them. Danny will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Dante and Celeste Andreini, his brother Clement Andreini, and his nephew David Ekmark. Danny is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sharon Andreini; children Danny Andreini (Carmen), and Lisa Warren (Ken). He will be forever cherished and remembered by his three grandchildren, Tucker, Britt, and Chase Andreini; great- granddaughter Skyler Huggins; sister Lena Clair Ekmark (Karl), nephew Steve Ekmark and niece Karen Braswell.
Services for Danny will be held at St. Louis Church, 203 S. White Station Rd., on Saturday, October 21, 2023. Visitation will be 10 am - 12 pm. Mass will be at noon. Burial to follow at Memorial Park, 5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN, 38119. (901) 767-8930.
