Danny Stamps' Obituary
Danny H. Stamps, 69, passed away July 8, 2017. He was born April 22, 1948 in Memphis, TN. He was preceded in death by his late wife, Anita Stamps; parents; and brother, James Richard Stamps. He was a devout Christian. He served in the U.S. Navy. He retired from the Memphis Police Department as a Captain after 31 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Patricia Stamps; children, Ashley Daniel (Kevin), Michael Morris (Christi), Brett Stamps (Bronwyn), and Trisha Bloodworth (Robbie); grandchildren, Olivia, Jacob, McClain, and Anderson; beloved dogs, Molly McAllister and Maggie McGuire; and brother, Tony Stamps (Debbie). Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, July 11 and funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 12 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family requests memorials be sent to the Le Bonheur Club.
