Daniel Irby's Obituary
Daniel Irby, 83, died August 14, 2012 at Baptist Memorial Hospital. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until service time at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Entombment will be in the Mausoleum at Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Irby was a graduate of University of Arkansas, retired electrical engineer with MLG&W, and a member at Crossroads United Methodist Church. He leaves his wife of 60 years, Agnes Irby; one daughter, Dana Strawn (Glenn); one son, Doug Irby (Sandy); grandchildren, Josh Strawn, Jake Strawn, Jenny Walls, Alyson Mears, Amy Anderson, Austin Irby and Aaron Warhurst; and five great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroad United Methodist Church or charity of donor’s choice.
