Daniel "Dan" Wilkinson's Obituary
Daniel “Dan” Wilton Wilkinson, 72, went to Heaven, June 15, 2018. Dan now rejoins his parents, Allen Franklin and Erna Mae Wilkinson, and three brothers, Allen Wayne, Harold Edmund, and Arlen Jefferey Wilkinson. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Wilkinson, two daughters, Leigh Anne Wilkinson Henderson and son in law Wes Henderson, and Dana Wilkinson McKnett and son in law Scott McKnett, six grandchildren, Nikki, Ryan, Brittany, Megan, Blake, and Reid, one great granddaughter Lilly, three brothers, Terry Wilkinson, Myron Wilkinson (Sandra), Mike Wilkinson (Linda), three sisters in law, Sue Wilkinson and Patricia Wilkinson, and Cheryl Wilkinson, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of extended family. Born April 2, 1946, Dan grew up moving houses with his father, served in the Army, and was a retired truck driver who loved his family dearly. He will be sorely missed. The family will be receive friends and family from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday, June 20, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The celebration of life service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, June 21, 2018 also at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
