I met Curt 51 years ago. We shared thousands of laughs and the thrill of excellent music throughout the years. But most importantly, he gave me the Joy of my God-daughter ~ his daughter Lucy.
When things are difficult, I always remember him, with that knowing smile, saying “That’s where Faith comes in!”
Thank you Curt. You sure made a difference in my life. You are deeply missed💙 Marci
Curt and I were literally lifelong friends. His dad sang with my dad in the Blackwood Brothers when we were both born; Curt five months before me. There too many memories to share but one of them was when, in the dead of winter, we drove his VW Beetle non-stop from Memphis to Boston, where he was enrolled in Berklee. The roads were not favorable and it took us 22 hours as I recall. What great memories I have of my best childhood friend!
Curt instilled a wonderful faith in Lucy from a very young age we will always be thankful for him, one of my favorite memories - his nickname for Lucy is "Beauty". We love you Curt!
