Corrine Kay Sondag, age 68, passed from this world to be with The Lord on Wednesday, July 5, 2023.
Corrine was born on December 26, 1954, in Denver, CO, to the late Norman and Fern Jobe. She's survived by her husband of 27 years, Michael Sondag, son, Patrick (Sara) Mayes, stepsons, Tyler and Noah (Sabrina) Sondag, granddaughter, Jordan (Hunter) Mayes King, grandson, Rylan Strain, and predeceased by her son Kelly Mayes.
She was an avid gardener who loved spending time in her backyard and on her back porch watching birds and playing with her giant schnauzers: Tyno, Baren, Toby, and Gabby. She created a successful career for herself in the mortgage industry and enjoyed playing tennis, scrapbooking, and painting in her younger years. She never met a stranger she wouldn't offer a smile to, and her heart was full of kindness and gratitude regardless of what came her way in life.
A visitation hour is planned for Saturday, July 15 at 10:00am at Longview Heights Baptist Church in Olive Branch, MS, with a memorial service to follow beginning at 11:00am.
