Memories have been flooding my mind these past few days. I always looked forward to the many times we would all get together. We had so much fun; our house, your house or family events. Dad and Mom loved you all so much. After Mom passed, Sherry came over and spent the day with me. We went through old pictures where she would tell me who everyone was and tell me stories of their childhood. That day she loved me as a mother would. I will always cherish that moment with her. I will always remember that beautiful, warming smile and the loving embrace she always gave me.

I met Sherry when our daughters were in Mothers Day together. That began a nearly 40 year friendship. She was a friend that was so kind and generous with her time and talent. We used to go to the auction on Saturdays on summer ave. We took our daughters on several outings and always had a fun time. She definitely loved animals, going to her house she would have a new pet needing a home and they ended up in the right place because she loved them. When thinking back on our friendship a smile comes to me as she was a wonderful and true friend to me and anyone she met. She will be missed and loved by all. Jerene Lovitt
