To Connie’s family,
I started first grade with Connie (only person I ever knew with that name) at Lenox Elementary school and we “graduated” from there together. I actually lost track of her afterwards.
She and Susanne, her best friend who lived on Cox street, were the brightest of the bright in our six classes together and they were good friend, as well..
I remember her Dad was a policeman.
They lived on Union and there property touched the property of Connie’s Mother’s sister’s property facing Edgewood. (I think they were sisters, or at least family connected.)
Their names were Poston and their daughter was Margaret. I think she must have been
related somehow to Connie and Beverly. They shared a grandmother who lived on Cox across from the rear of Lennox.
Connie was always kind to me as a classmate and neighbor and I cherish her memory and those others in and around our small class circle during those years at
Lenox.

Connie, Roger, Ron & I became friends in 1963. We had so many great times together -- softball games, weekend trips to the lake, golfing trips, and holidays! I cherish all the special times we had. You will live in my heart forever. Love you, Jeanne
I’ve known Connie since 1964 at First National Bank, later name First Tennessee Bank. She played softball for the bank and my husband coached the team. Connie was a very good player and could really embarrass my husband. We all enjoyed having parties to celebrate anniversaries and to just enjoy each other’s company. Good times back them. Now you are with Roger again. I’ll see you when m called. Love you, Sadie Harper
