Connie J. Brady's Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Connie J. Brady March 24, 2026, after long struggle with many health issues beginning June 2025.
Connie was born in Memphis, TN on August 28, 1950, to Horace and Jean Branch. She attended Sherwood Elementary, Messick High School, and Memphis State.
Connie will be remembered for her kindness and her connections with others. She was known as the “Bread Lady” using a special recipe of her dad’s.
Connie was a member of Second Presbyterian Church additionally, she worked for 2pc for over 18 years both in the Recreation Department and as an Executive Secretary.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Jean Branch, and her niece Lauren Witty.
Connie leaves behind her husband of 41 years, Dale Brady, sister Terrie Witty, son Jay Summers and stepson Braxton Brady, grandchildren, Preston Brady, Bennett Brady, and Emma Sanders Brady, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
A visitation will begin at 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 7, 2026, in the Salmon room with a Memorial Service to follow at 4:00 p.m., in the Chapel, both at Second Presbyterian Church 4055 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN, 901-454-0034.
