I guess it is true that God brings his angel’s home when their purpose is fulfilled. I knew from the day we met you were very special. So special that you have left a lasting impression on many that were lucky enough to get to know you. Clyde you are so missed; It is so hard to believe I lost my co-parent, my friend, my family. I miss talking to you about our son’s growing pains, successes and adventures, JSU football and old times. I will make sure our grandkids know all about their “Pop Pop” and how larger than life you were. Be on the lookout for our boy’s touchdown kiss to the sky for you as I know you will be watching over all of your babies. I will continue to love life, age as gracefully as possible and be the best grandmother and matriarch of our son’s family. Rest well. Shawn Richardson Terry
I met Clyde 18 years ago when he walked into my office for business dressed in his Cowboys attire.
We developed a friendship then that has carried for this many years.
He always had a smile and laugh that cannot be forgotten.
I’m still processing of learning of his passing and know he isn’t suffering and is reunited with his family members.
My prayers are with his son and family during this time.
Dear God, sometimes the pain feels too much to bear. Grant me the endurance to go through this suffering while keeping my faith intact. Help me to see the lessons and blessings hidden in these trials. Amen.

My heart is still processing the passing of Clyde. He had the most beautiful smile and there was always joy in him every time we met. Although we did not see each other on a regular basis, I was always greeted with a big hug and big laugh. He’s now sharing that with the Angels.
