Clyde Gamblin's Obituary
Clyde E. Gamblin,99, passed away on November 26, 2021. He was retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber Company. Mr. Gamblin was a WWII Veteran obtaining metals as follows: American Campaign, Efficiency Honor, Fidelity, World Award, and European African Middle Eastern Campaign.
He leaves behind one son, Larry Gamblin, three daughters, Barbara Moore, Patsy Yarbro (Steve), and Pam Davis. He also leaves nine grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. He also leaves behind two sisters, Reba Jones and Nadine Case and many nieces and nephews. He will join his parents, William and Viola Gamblin, two brothers Vernon and Carlin Gamblin, and one sister, Marie Tracy in heaven.
Clyde Gamblin was one of God’s special angels here on earth sent to touch everyone he met by sharing God’s word and grace. His halo glowed accenting the gentle smile on his face as he set a perfect example for others to follow him to Heaven. He will be greatly missed by all.
The visitation will be held 9:30 a.m., until the service time at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Entombment will be in the Memorial Park Mausoleum.
