Clifford P. Rowell's Obituary
Clifford P. Rowell, 90, U.S. Navy Veteran, passed away January 27, 2017. He was a retired Customer Service Manager for 42 years at Kimberly Clark Corp. Cliff was a member of Ellendale Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Virginia Ivy and Sylvia Reynolds; brothers, Carl, Charles, and Raymond Rowell; first wife, Otera Rowell. He is survived by his wife, Sherri Rowell; children, Glynda Wheetley, Gary Rowell (Rose), and Greg Rowell (Marla); stepson, Lawrence Vaughn (Holley); brothers, Vincent and Jack Rowell; six grandchildren; three step grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Cliff was an avid golfer and masterly made three hole in ones! He was a member of two WWII organizations and served as a funeral Honor Guard at Singleton WWII Club. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until his service begins at 11:30 a.m. Monday, January 30 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery.
