Clayton M. Jolly, Jr. died on July 12, 2009 in the early morning at the home of his loving daugher and son-in-law, Sherry and Gerry Wright.He leaves a sister Betty Ruth Halstead of Memphis, a brother Albert Jolly of San Antonio Texas, and three daughters, Sherry Louise Wright, Patricia Chandler-Faust, Christine Baugas.He was a World War II Veteran. He was a flight navigator for the Navy and was stationed in Greenland during the war. He had many memories of his naval tenure and was proud to have served our nation. He was a member of the Ellendale Saddle Club where he became an accomplished horseman. He was retired from Gay-Michie Construction Company, and in his later years he became known for his ability to play billiards.He was preceded by his wife of 56 years, Helen Louise Jolly, and his grandson Keith Barnett whom he will now be reunited.A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, July 15th at 1:30 at Memorial Park in the Rotunda of the Masoleum . . .The family requests that memorials be made to: Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis
