CLAUDINE THOMAS STRICKLAND PICKARD. June 25, 1918 – December 5, 2013. In the season of Advent, our mother made a graceful transition to reunite with her Creator and beloved family. She was pre-deceased by her father, Claude (WWI, d. 1918); mother, Blanche Thomas Bullard (d. 1987) and husbands: first love, Leslie Strickland (d. 1968), and Howard Pickard (d. 1999). Loving mother of Joan Robertson (John) of Dundas, Ontario and Deen Logan (David) of Brentwood, Tennessee. A supportive grandmother to Eric Robertson (Holly) and Mark Robertson (Jon Fedder) of Toronto and to Sam Logan (Karen), Matt Logan, and Leslie Hill (Sims) of Nashville. Loving great-grandmother to Wesley and Anna Robertson, Mary Carter, Betsy and Charlie Logan, Williams, Porter and Felix Hill. Graduate of University of Arkansas (1940); supervisor of School Food Service, Memphis Board of Education; life member of Germantown’s Lioness Club, and the Germantown United Methodist Church; hospital volunteer.
