What a shock to me. I haven’t seen or spoken with Claude maybe since our time at Friends university in the Singing Quakers. What a fun guy to be around. And, was unaware of any illness that has taken him. My, my, what a shock to me this morning. My prayers go out to all his family.
I have been and will continue to pray for all of the family and friends of Claude. He was an amazing man, and I am so sad that he is gone. I do have every confidence that he is playing a top notch bari sax in the most amazing band in heaven. I got to know Claude when I started the band at E. E. Jeter five years ago. He was so helpful and kind to me getting instruments prepared for my group and fixing instruments when things went wrong. I just wanted the family to know that I am thankful that I got to know Claude, and he will truly be missed. His work made it possible for countless students in the Memphis area to be given the opportunity to learn to play an instrument. There is no telling how many students lives were enriched because they were able to play an instrument that Claude fixed.
Gary and I were just with you at the Shrine, you carrying on and joking like you do. We will always hold you in our memories! We miss you! ??
So very sorry for your loss. John 5:28,29
Claude you will be missed until that grand reunion in heaven. Keep playing your music. See you shortly.
