Clarence Rowland's Obituary
Clarence Richard Rowland, 70, went home to the Lord on September 20, 2011. He was born in Aubrey, AR to Loren Cleveland and Marie Auterberry Rowland. Richard grew up in Arkansas. After graduation from Marianna High School, he served 3 years of active duty with the Army and 17 in the Air Force Reserve. He retired from Memphis Light, Gas and Water in April 2001, after 37 years. Richard enjoyed cooking and gardening. He leaves his wife of 22 years, Pat Luffman Rowland, a son, Shawn, Nashville, TN, step-daughter, Kristi Hearn (Mark), Lookout Mt. GA, and brother, Charles (Bonnie) Rowland, West Helena, AR. His parents and son Jason preceded him in death. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. and services at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 23 at First Assembly of God, 8650 Walnut Grove Road. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
