Clarence L. Langford's Obituary
Clarence L. Langford, Jr., 86, a resident of Kirby Pines Retirement Community, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2013. He was born November 1, 1926 in West Point, MS. Mr. Langford was an Army Korean War Veteran. He grew up in Greenfield, TN. In June, 1949, Clarence married Barbara Coates. They had two children, Sandra Carlton and Ernest Langford. After Barbara’s death, Clarence married his surviving spouse, Madonna Hall. Clarence leaves three grandsons, two step children, five step grandchildren, and six great step grandchildren. He was a pharmaceutical representative for Carnrick Laboratories for 28 years before his retirement in 1993. Mr. Langford served as an elder at Whitehaven Church of Christ and Lake Forest Church of Christ and on the board at Crowley’s Ridge College in Paragould, AR. He was an active member of Germantown Church of Christ. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the service time at 11:30 a.m., Monday, October 7, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Forest Hill South Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Crowley’s Ridge College or Germantown Church of Christ.
