Clarence Lamar Caldwell's Obituary
Clarence Lamar Caldwell passed away on October 13, 2018. Lamar was born October 18, 1950 in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He lived most of his life in Memphis, Tennessee. He graduated from Trezavant High School and earned his BA degree from the University of Tennessee where he played football for the Volunteers. He was a graphic designer and was the President of Langford/Caldwell Advertising Studio. Lamar was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Alvin Caldwell. He is survived by his mother, Josey Caldwell; his wife, Adonna Caldwell; his son, Todd Caldwell and his daughter, Laura Schaaf, son-in-law Fred Schaaf and grandson Miles Schaaf; and his two brothers, Tim and Daryl Caldwell, as well as multiple nieces and nephews. He lived out his Christian faith by being a servant to others. In lieu of flowers the family requests donation be made to the Baptist Memorial HealthCare Foundation for the benefit of Baptist College of Health Sciences at http://www.bmhgiving.org/ or to the University of Tennessee Alumni Association at http://www.alumni.utk.edu (campus fund or communication and information).Visitation will be at Memorial Park 5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN. 38119 on Tuesday, October 16 from 5:00-7:30 p.m. with the funeral service to be held Wednesday, October 17 at 1:30 p.m. The will burial to follow at Memphis Memory Gardens Cemetery 6444 Raleigh LaGrange, Memphis, TN 38134.
