Clarence Eugene Burch's Obituary
CLARENCE EUGENE BURCH, 76, passed away January 19, 2009 at Delta Medical Center after a short illness. He was a member of Broadmoor Baptist church and a veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Joann Lewis Burch of Memphis, TN; a son, Charles Eugene “Butch” Burch of Olive Branch, MS; his daughter, Eva Jo Burch Pace, of Glencoe, OK; his granddaughter, Sarah Nichole Caveness of Stillwater, OK; his grandson, Joshua Colton Caveness of Glencoe, OK; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ellie Burch, three brothers, Robert Burch, John Burch, and James W. “Bill” Burch and two sisters, Verna Nelson and Georgia Thompson.The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. at High Point Funeral Chapel, 3788 Summer Avenue; on Friday, January 23, 2009 with services to follow at 4 p.m. Interment is private at Memorial Park Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials be sent to Broadmoor Baptist church or the Alzheimer’s Foundation or charity of your choice.Arrangements by: High Point Funeral Chapel 901-454-5795 www.highpointchapel.com
