Christopher Stephen Poindexter, Sr.'s Obituary
Christopher Stephen Poindexter, Sr., 66, passed away August 21, 2017. He was a US Marine Corps veteran and member of Local Union 474 IBEW for 44 years. He was a 1968 graduate of White Station High School, an avid golfer, UT Vols and St. Louis Cardinals fan. Chris is survived by his wife of 44 years, Virginia Gail Poindexter; sons, Chris “Dex” Poindexter, Jr. and his wife, Lauren and Franklin “Al” Poindexter and his wife, Jennifer and grandchildren, Emily Virginia (age 9), Mason Ally (age 4) and Riley Joy (age 2). He was preceded in death by his parents, F. Duke Poindexter, Jr. and Joy Roberson Poindexter and brother, Franklin Duke Poindexter, III. Chris was a great husband, father and friend who had a great life and was happy almost every day.
