Christopher "Chris" A Kennedy's Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Chris Kennedy on March 8th. Chris was a devoted son, loving husband, proud father, grandfather, brother, and a cherished friend to many. For more than 40 years, Chris worked as an aircraft mechanic inspector, a profession that reflected his dedication, skill, and strong work ethic. He took great pride not only in his work but in the relationships he built throughout his life. Chris was known for his generosity and willingness to help others. Whether he was fixing a friend’s air conditioner, repairing a car, mowing a lawn, or simply showing up when someone needed him most, Chris was always there. He believed deeply in being a good friend and neighbor, and he lived that belief every day. Chris was also a devout Catholic whose faith guided the way he lived his life. He carried his beliefs with quiet strength, kindness, and compassion, striving to treat others with the same love and grace that his faith taught him. A genuinely kind and dependable person, Chris touched the hearts of countless people. His warmth, loyalty, and selfless spirit made the world a better place, and his memory will continue to live on in the lives he touched. Chris leaves behind his loving wife, Donna Kennedy; his sons, Matt, Phillip, and John; his cherished granddaughter, Dallas Chaney; his brothers, Tom (Emily), Rich, and Joe Kennedy; and his sister, Theresa Kennedy. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
His visitation will be held on March 16th at 12pm with a service following at 1pm. Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119.
