Christie Houston Morton's Obituary
Christie Houston Morton, aged 74, entered the presence of the Lord on Saturday, July 20, 2024.
He was retired from the residential construction industry and loved spending time with his family, working on his farm, and sharing his love for the Lord with everyone he met.
Services will be handled by Memorial Park Funeral Home. Visitation is 5:00 to 7:00 Thursday July 25, 2024, with services at 10:00 am on Friday, July 26, 2024. Burial will be in New Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery in Rossville, Tennessee.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carol; three sons, William (Angie), Richard (Melanie), and Ben (Melanie); grandchildren Nell Morton, Elliotte Morton, Peter Morton, Nathan Morton, Ethan Morton, Mary Elizabeth Morton, Christian Morton, and Sarah Grace Morton; and one great grandson, Jewel Alexander Morton. He is also survived by three sisters, Pat Rhodes, Wanda Johnson, and Melanie Johnston; two brothers Jimmy Morton and Michael Morton; and his best friend and truck riding buddy, Oakley.
He was predeceased by his parents William Arthur Morton and Freda Esther Morton, his sister Dixie Throneberry, and brothers Philip Morton and Larry Morton.
