Cheryl J. West's Obituary
Cheryl J. West, 80 of Eads, TN passed away on January 24, 2025. Cheryl was a longtime member of Ridgeway Baptist Church in Memphis where she was the former Woman’s Ministries Director/Event Coordinator and served in other areas of the church. She went on mission trips to Africa and India to spread the love of God and the gospel to those in need. She was a faithful servant of the Lord and loved Him with her whole heart!
In her earlier years, she designed and sewed drapes for an interior decorator and enjoyed square dancing. She also worked alongside her late husband running West Pools which they started in 1980. She loved the beach and traveling with her husband in their RV. She will be remembered by her family and friends as loving, kind, and a mighty woman of God.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 38 years, Jesse West, her parents Mary and Paul Armstrong, her sister Nancy Waters and her brother James Armstrong.
She is survived by her sister Janie Dawson (husband James); son Gene Hill of Walls, Mississippi, granddaughters Aimee Hill and Brittany Marshall (husband Ryan), great-grandchildren Rylee, Campbell and Eli Marshall; her daughter Linda Antle of Florida, granddaughters Cassie Turner and Kera Clark (husband Matthew), three great-grandsons Dominic Peterson, Tobias and Colton Clark, and grandson Troy Smith (wife Allison); and her stepdaughter, Serisa Jaudon of Carencro, Louisiana (husband Phillip), grandsons Kyle and Connor
