Cheryl Anne Coday, age 58, passed away April 17, 2019. She was born February 17, 1961 in Memphis, Tennessee. She is survived by her mother, Mary Louise Stevens; father, Raymond Douglas Stevens; and sister, Carol Gonzalez (Oscar). Read Obituary
We first met in YWAM, way back in Amsterdam, 1983. I remember Cheryl as someone who loved the Lord and who was open, honest, loving, giving, ready to share her heart, transparent and courageous. May the Lord extend unprecedented comfort to you.
I knew Cheryl while serving alongside her in YWAM. Genuine – this was how she treated me and everyone in our group. She never stopped caring. She always had fun. And felt deeply. I’m so sad I didn’t see her before she left. I can’t wait to see her again. Deepest condolences to her family who feels her absence more than I will know. I can’t tell you how thrilled I was to come to know Cheryl. She helped me to see God like I couldn’t have in any other way.
So sorry to her family for your loss. Cheryl was a wonderful and giving person. Loved life and the Lord. Her life truly mattered. She made a difference to so many. I know that she went through many rough years, and I know that even then she blessed others. We served together in missions and many wonderful times. See you in heaven Cheryl.
I just saw this last night since I haven’t been able to contact Cheryl. I am so very sorry for your loss. Cheryl was a dear friend to me. We were in YWAM together and served at Living Alternatives together. My prayers are with you all. May our Heavenly Father, the God of all comfort, be with you.
Our condolences to this family ,that my wife Patricia has know for 50 years . Carol this has to be a tremendous lost to lose your twin sister and also to your mother ,Mary Louise Stevens to lose yet another family member within a few weeks .
