Charlotte W. Peterson's Obituary
Charlotte W. Peterson, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully July 31, 2018. Charlotte was born February 22, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan. She married Reuben “Pete” Peterson in 1949. His career brought them to Memphis in 1961. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 64 years in 2013. Charlotte is survived by her three sons, Eric of Columbia, Mo, David (Cindy) of Germantown and Tim (Cindy) of Mooresville, NC. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Erin, David, Christopher, Sara, Tyler and Christian and three great grands, Brooks, Miranda and Banks. Charlotte devoted her life to caring for her family. She was the best Mom and Grandma and will be missed by all. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 a.m., Friday morning, August 3 followed by the funeral mass at 10:00 a.m., both at St Louis Catholic Church at the corner of White Station and Shady Grove where Charlotte was a parishioner for 57 years. The family would like to thank the staff at Kirby Pines and the folks from Crossroads Hospice for the loving care that they provided for Charlotte. In lieu of flowers the family requests any memorials be made to Christian Brothers High School or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.Arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN 38119 (901) 767-8930. “Celebrating Life… Behind the Stone Wall”.
