Charline Jeter Adams' Obituary
Charline Jeter Adams was born on September 7, 1957 in Memphis and departed this life on January 26, 2019 at the age of 61. She was a gifted teacher and for over twenty years she taught school in Memphis; Dyer, Tennessee; and Caruthersville, Missouri. She was an avid reader, and she loved to sew, embroidery, and cross stitch. Among her greatest loves was teaching the Hope Sunday School class and the Preschool class of Vacation Bible School at Colonial Baptist Church where she was an active member.She is survived by her parents, Charlie and Fredna Jeter of Horn Lake Mississippi, her husband, Dr. James Adams of Memphis, a daughter April Bouchillon (Reed) of Memphis, a granddaughter, Bailei Lopez, and a grandson, Caleb Bouchillon; three brothers, Bobby (Dawn) Jeter of Mobile, Alabama; Steve (Anita) Jeter of Bad Tölz Germany; Gregory Scott (Angie) Jeter of Walls, Mississippi; and one sister Jean Stephens (Greg) of Southaven, Mississippi; also numerous nieces and nephews and many great friends.The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 31 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Friday, February 1 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. The funeral service will be on Friday, February 1 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Gideons International or to Colonial Baptist Church, 1503 Colonial Road Memphis, TN 38117 (901)-682-6644 All services and visitation will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. “Celebrating Life…..
