Charlie Hammond's Obituary
CHARLIE A. HAMMOND, 64, of Eads, TN, passed away May 8, 2011 after a long illness. He was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church. He served as a member of Knights of Columbus. Charlie was a retired owner of MMH Equipment Company. Charlie had a great love for life. He loved nothing more than his family and friends. Fishing, sports, and coaching were his passion. Loving husband leaves wife of 44 years, Carolyn B. Hammond. Loving father leaves son, Christopher A. Hammond, son, Craig A. Hammond, and daughter, Cynthia A. Rakowsky; grandchildren, Dalton A. Hammond, Jake M. Hammond, Mark V. Hammond, Kaitlyn H. Hammond, Ava G. Hammond. Charlie leaves behind his brother, Ralph E. Hammond and Frank Domino, Jr. The family will receive friends 4:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 12, at St. Ann Catholic Church, 6529 Stage Road, Bartlett. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
