Charles Edwin Trout, Sr.'s Obituary
Charles Edwin Trout, Sr., 83, passed away July 22, 2010. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, July 24 and funeral services at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, July 25 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Milan, TN. He is survived by his wife, Reba C.; children, Charles “Chip” Trout, Jr. (Jeanie) and Charla T. Garrison (Eddie); grandchildren, Keith Garrison (Jamie) and Rachel and Jenny Trout; great-grandchildren, J.C. Hester, Bryce, and Bailey Garrison; sister, Mrs. Johnnie Sue Coon of Selah, WA; lifelong friend, Rip Rhea; and constant companion, Hobo. During World War II, Charles joined the U.S. Merchant Marine out of high school. He also served in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was retired from South Central Bell and an Avid Bowler. Memorial contributions may be made to Colonial Baptist Church, 1503 Colonial Road, Memphis, TN 38117.
