Charles was a selfless, loyal, and generous husband, brother, son, grandson, and friend. He was always full of love and hope. He loved, listened to, nurtured, and cared for others so deeply, whether it was through his songwriting, his calming presence, his cooking, or his comforting hugs. He enjoyed life and started playing music at 3 years old, thank you Ms. Jean. Charles was a creative and talented musician-songwriter, singer, and piano, guitar, and bass player. He was the co-creator of the band Ghosty with his dear wife Nayara and dear friend Clay Carmody and a member of the bands Run Miko and Vas.
As a strong believer in Jesus, he also served on the worship teams for a number of churches in Memphis, TN. He loved Nayara, his family, his friends, and his pets wholly, thoughtfully, and perfectly. He was a creative genius. He inspired, uplifted, and encouraged his peers, bringing simple and wholesome harmony to everything he touched. The feeling of being in his presence while doing what he loved, and spending time with the people he loved was unparalleled. As a lifelong giver, he donated his organs to 7 people.
