Charles Rocco's Obituary
Charles R. Rocco died peacefully on July 27, 20ll, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, TN. He grew up and attended schools in Bentleyville, PA and was a graduate of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. A United States Army veteran, he was a retired employee of Chrysler Corporation where he worked for 35 years. Hired as a trainee, he held multiple managerial and executive positions in both the Sales and Service Divisions of the company, relocating several times in his career. As much as he enjoyed his work, his family came first in his life. He leaves his loving wife Mary Jane, at home; his son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Richard and Susan Rocco, his grandchildren, Andrew and Isabelle, who gave him great joy, all of Naperville, IL; and his two sisters, Marian Mazutis (Peter) of Bentleyville, PA, and Lillian Bercosky (Robert) of Marianna, PA. A faithful communicant of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Germantown, TN, he was a caring and generous person. He had a wonderful sense of humor, never met a stranger, and treated everyone with respect. A funeral mass and burial will be at St. Barbara Catholic Church in Bridgeville, PA, where he and his wife were married 51 years ago.
