Charles Edward Rast Sr.'s Obituary
Charles Edward Rast Sr, 84, of Olive Branch, Ms. went to his heavenly home on July 6, 2021.
Mr. Rast is survived by his son Charles Rast Jr, and his daughters Sheryl Wallace and Gail McNinch, grandchildren Brian (Rachna) Wallace, Amber (Jason) Dawson, three bonus great grandchildren and his beloved brother John (Marsha) Rast.
Mr. Rast was preceded in death by the love of his life Juanita McMillin Rast and his beloved brother Russell Rast.
He loved the Lord and his family and was a huge Tennesse Vols fan. He loved golf and almost made it to the big leagues as a baseball player. He had endless knowledge and compassion and empathy for everyone he ever met. He was plant manager for two large companies before he retired.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday July 12 at 9 am with a funeral service at 10 am, located in the Riverside Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Memorial Park South Woods.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in his name to the Chris Hope Foundation would be what he would have wanted as a supporter of the children at St. Jude hospital.
