Charles Lee Miller's Obituary
Charles Lee Miller, Jr., 87, passed away Saturday May 26, 2018. A man of great character and integrity, Charlie lived his life on his terms with his wife and family always coming first. His is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Patricia T. Miller; four children, Kevin Miller (Gayla), Kathy Johnson (Larry), Kerry Miller (Wendy), and Kenneth Miller (Dana); five of his six grandchildren, Stephanie Harrison, Shannon Vinson, Spencer Johnson, Kennedy Miller, Pierce Miller, and Matthew Johnson (deceased); and five of his six great grandchildren with the seventh soon on the way. Charlie retired from Bell South after a long career of 43 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He loved his family and playing tennis most of all. He was a member of Balmoral Baptist Church and is now resting comfortably with the Lord and his loved ones that preceded him. He will be missed by so many who appreciated his unique brand of humor. Visitation and funeral service will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Poplar Ave. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 29th from 5-7 pm with services on Wednesday at 2:30 pm. Family would like to ask that any memorials be sent to Bamoral Baptist Church.
