Charles Jayne, 75, of Memphis, passed away May 20, 2016, at St. Francis Hospital. Charles retired as Service Manager from Siemens Medical Systems with 25 years of service in 1999. Following this, he worked for 6 years at Scanditro Read Obituary

I sure wish that I had known Charles was still in the Memphis area. Charles, Paul Marcus, Sam, and Carrie were nextdoor neighbors on Airways during the 1950s and maybe the late 1940s. Many dishes of homemade ice cream were eaten in their backyard. I have a couple of pictures taken in those early years if any family member is interested. Charles Jayne made me smile each time that we sat and discussed his views on his life. His keen intelligence was broad while covering many areas that interested him and his observations helped me to shape my ideas. His devotion to Sharon and his family made him a role model that I and his many friends would try to follow. I will always remember the good times we shared. Rest in peace my friend.
Charles Jayne was a man of character. He loved his family and was devoted his life to them. Charles also was a man of integrity everyday of the week. He was highly intelligent with dedicated to his work as an engineer servicing Radiation Therapy medical equement. He later went into management and treated every employee and customer with upmost professionalism. Charles made a difference in many lives that he touched I will miss him greatly. Ken McCoy
