Mr. Gardner taught me most of what I know about the refrigerated warehouse business. He was always straight forward and gave me good sound advice. But most of all he provided me with how a Christian can conduct business in this modern world. He was a man of his word and exhibited a strong work ethic.
I left Memphis over 20 years ago but I remained in contact with Mr. Gardner. Through the years he continued to provide me with sound advice and friendship. Several times I told him that besides my Dad and Grandfather, I thought he was the finest man I had ever had known.
