Chuck was a great friend, over half a century of memories, auctions, families, children, friends and good times. He will be missed by all of those who shared these memories.

My father was tough but fair. I remember a particular Monday which happened to be report card day. I was never a good student and my report card reflected that fact. However, we -David and Daddy - also had a standing date with my Uncle Clyde for wrestling every Monday night. I dreaded the time between showing mom my grades and daddy's arrival to get David and me. Dad got home and there was complete silence. He came in David's and my room and gave me a choice. He said I could stay home and not take a whipping or take the whipping a go to wrestling. I took the whipping.
Chuck was a great friend and help to my father. They played golf and volunteered at Audubon Golf Course. My father then was in his mid eighties to early 90s! Chuck was always very helpful to my father and I will always be very grateful for his caring. Chuck was OK in my book and the world lost a good one!
