I was so sorry to hear of Tweed’s passing. I worked with him at HBA in Memphis. It was my first job out of college at UT Knoxville. I was a very young and immature engineer with so much to learn. He had great patience with me and gave me many more chances that I deserved. Tweed gave me the nickname “Queenie” soon after I started work. I grew to love that term of endearment. He was a fine man and I am so proud that I was given a chance to work for him. I was so sorry to miss his recent memorial. I would have loved to be there to honor him and pay my great respect to him. Unfortunately, I lost my sweet mother just days before and her funeral was the day before in Bristol. Tweed was a fine man and I have wonderful memories from my time in Memphis and thank him for his wonderful guidance in my early career.
