Charles Slaton Beall's Obituary
Charles Slaton Beall, 85, of Memphis, Tennessee was born December 18,1939 and went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 21, 2025. He was an insurance agent with Liberty Mutual Life Insurance Company for many years. Mr. Beall received his Bachelor’s degree from Arkansas State University and proudly served in the United States Air Force Reserves. He was a very active member of Bellevue Baptist Church and a volunteer for over 20 years at Love Worth Finding. Mr. Beall was bold in his witness and faithful to distribute gospel tracks to people with whom he came into contact. Charles gladly shared his testimony in an interview with Dr. Livy Cope on TV declaring his faith. Mr. Beall was also very passionate about his health and exercising. He was known to walk the 40 flights of stairs at the White Station Towers daily. Mr. Beall loved telling jokes and wrote poems for special occasions.
He was a faithful husband for 63 years to Syrena Beall and is survived by his son and daughter in law, Brian and Pam Beall and grandson and wife, Brad and Hannah. Mr. Beall was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Miriam Beall and his sister, Marsha.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 2, 2025 until service begins at 11:00 a.m. at Bellevue Baptist Church in the Chapel. Interment will be at 1:45 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery.
