I loved my Uncle Charles so much. Even though he had a serious and responsible job, he was always ready with a joke. He was light hearted and just plain FUN. Through the years, when my problems seemed insurmountable, Uncle Charles was always there with wise council.
But the number one, distinguishing trait was his faith. That was his bedrock. It permeated every cell of his being. Everything in his life radiated from this. His relationships, his work ethic, his outlook on life. A faith that was unequaled except for my Aunt Joan.
I will miss him terribly of course. But it won't be long until we will all be on the other side, feasting together at the Father's table.
