Cecilia Ann Montgomery "CeeAnn"'s Obituary
Cecilia Ann Montgomery "CeeAnn", 62, passed away on March 28, 2021 at home with her family after a long battle with lung cancer.
CeeAnn had a great passion for building and crafts. After taking a workshop class in highschool, she developed a love for carpentry and often worked with friends in the log home industry on building beautiful log homes in the mountains across the United States. Another passion of CeeAnn’s was stained glass work, which she did for many years. She created beautiful plates, bowls, accessories, lampshades, and more; which she often sold at local craft fairs. CeeAnn passed this creative passion on to her only child, who also has a strong passion for the arts.
CeeAnn was preceded in death by her parents, Ray H. and Lucee A. Wilson. She is survived by her husband, Donnie, and her daughter, Shelby. She is also survived by her brother, Ray; sister-in-law, Vicki; three nieces, Grace, Sarah, and Rachel; and two nephews, Sam and Ted. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Robert, and numerous cousins in Virginia.
The family wants to express gratitude to the doctors and staff of St. Francis Hospital ICU and staff with Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care. Many thanks to family and friends who lovingly assisted the family during this difficult time.
A service will be held at Fountain Crest on Thursday, April 22nd at 1:00 PM, in the Memorial Park Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Avenue in Memphis, TN. CeeAnn will be inurned in the Glass Front Niches within the indoor mausoleum.
