Catherine Zaricor Richardson's Obituary
Catherine Zaricor Richardson passed away peacefully at her home in Trezevant Terrace on Friday morning, March 15, 2024. Proud to be a life-long Memphian, Cathie was born July 7, 1926, in Memphis and lived there for 97 years, except for a short 3 year stay in Olive Branch, Mississippi. She was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church and an avid University of Memphis Basketball Fan. She loved to read and she and her husband, Bill, loved to dance She was a Special Education teacher for 25 years with the Memphis City Schools.

Cathie was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Richardson, her two sisters, Lois Zaricor Moran and Lucille Raspberry Williams and her brother, Carl Zaricor. She is survived by her children, Renee Scarleski (Ken) and Frank Richardson (Linda), her six grandchildren Amy Privitt (Mark), Katy Lane (Danny), Jennifer Turner (David, Lauri Dalton (Doug), Shelby Clark (Robby) and Michael Scarleski (Jordan); her 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild and nieces and nephews.
Services will be held a Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave.
Visitation will be 1pm-2pm Wednesday, March 20th, followed by a 2pm service.
