Catherine Ray's Obituary
Catherine Ann Sharpe Ray, age 87, passed away April 14, 2018. She was born October 13, 1930. She is survived by her daughter, Dianne M. Thackery; sons, J. Michael Ray (Jean) and Philip D. Ray (Cheryl); daughter-in-law, Lynne Ray; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Ray and son, Stephen D. Ray.The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 18 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, April 20 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be sent to Holy Rosary Catholic Church or St. James Catholic Church.Arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN 38119 (901) 767-8930. “Celebrating Life… Behind the Stone Wall”.
