Catherine McManus O'Sullivan's Obituary
Catherine McManus O’Sullivan passed away on 9/6/2024, after a brief illness.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Dr. Patrick O’Sullivan.
She is survived by her three children: daughters Eimir (Rick), Deirdre (Mark) and son, Brian (Maryam). as well as her dear granddaughters, Fiona and Melody.
Born in Wigan, England in 1940, Cathy, as she was known to friends, emigrated to the U.S. in the 1960’s.
She met her husband, Paddy, in Rochester, New York. They married and eventually settled in Memphis, where they remained. Cathy was very fond of estate sales. She specialized in fine linens and lace, but also had a keen eye for French antiques and unique accessories. She displayed and sold her pieces at various locations around town for years.
A private ceremony will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Church Health Center
