Cary William Alexander's Obituary
Cary William Alexander was born in Memphis Tennessee on October 24, 1987 to Terry and Pam Alexander. He passed away on June 23, 2021 at the age of 33. He was loved by many.
Cary was preceded in death by his grandparents William and Laurinda Alexander, and A.V. and Amelia Norman. He is survived by his son Kayleb Alexander Horne, who was the pride of his life. He is also survived by his parents Terry Alexander and Pam Vickery; siblings Debbie Warner and Michael Vickery (Breanna); aunts Leigh Ann Alexander and Mimi Blanton, as well as several cousins and many friends.
Cary was a graduate of Olive Branch High School and enjoyed various types of maintenance work such as car repair and plumbing. He grew up bowling in the close-knit Memphis bowling community, where he will be missed. One of his favorite things was spending time with the most important person in his life, his son Kayleb.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, July 5 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119. The following day, on July 6, visitation will begin at 9:00 am with a funeral service at 10:00 am also at the funeral home. The interment will be held at 2:30pm at Campground Cemetery, 2535 Middleburg Road, Decaturville, TN 38329, near Parsons, TN. Maps will be provided at the service for anyone wishing to attend the graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, any donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
