Carroll Coltharp's Obituary
Carroll Boyce Coltharp, 78, passed away May 1, 2012. He was born November 28, 1933. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lorraine Coltharp; daughter, Loretta Morton (David S.); and son, Russell N. Coltharp (Karin). Mr. Coltharp served his country in U.S. Army as a communications officer. He was an electrical supervisor for DuPont for 25 years. He was the founder of Coltharp Piano World and a gifted piano technician, promoting music education in Memphis and the Mid-South. Mr. Coltharp believed in the gift of music, a universal language that transcends all barriers. He was a member of Leawood Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher. He loved RVing and riding his motorcycle. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m., Thursday, May 3 and funeral services will be 11:30 a.m., Friday, May 4 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery.
