Carolyn Melvin's Obituary
Carolyn Gail Bockmon Melvin, daughter of Anna Joyce Bockmon and Russell Wayne Bockmon, passed away peacefully on May 5th. She was surrounded by her family, for whom she provided so well. Carolyn was recently preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Courtney Eugene Melvin. She is survived by her siblings, Dr. Wayne Bockmon, Laine Baggerley, and Jeanne McElroy, her daughter Paige Annette Melvin, and her son Russell Courtney Melvin, along with his wife Suzanne Melvin and their two daughters, Amanda Taylor Melvin and Courtney Paige Melvin. The family will hold a private service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts in Carolyn’s name be made to The American Diabetes Association.
